How it works
NYC Building Compliance searches the City’s PLUTO tax-lot data for the “owner name” recorded on each lot. It’s the fastest way to pull a portfolio together, but two caveats: many owners hold each building in a separate LLC (so search a distinctive word, not the full legal name), and the owner-of-record can lag a recent sale. For anything official, confirm in ACRIS.
